Prolutica is an international company with roots in Denmark and in China. We are a strong multifaceted team with one major value at heart: Sustainability – including green transition.

With the enormous environmental and climatic challenges today, it is no longer an adequate strategy for businesses and supply chains only to implement and adopt sustainability measures when pressured to do so for better public appearances.

Sustainability is so much more than “just” the relation to the climate.

For us, sustainability and green transition are core values in everything we do – it is the turning point for how we see Prolutica and how we want our value chain to be in the future. This will not only create the background for a healthier world, but definitely also form a healthier life for the people living in this fantastic world.

The starting point for the value chain behind Prolutica is based on the already existing tradition for cultivation of Cannabis sativa – also known as industrial hemp.

Today, the biological material generated from cultivation of Cannabis sativa is not utilized to its full potential – far from!

With our scientific know-how and experience, we are improving the sustainable cultivation of Cannabis sativa as well as developing new methods and technologies for a better – and fully sustainable – utilization of the entire Cannabis sativa-plant. This will result in many new products and significant improvements to already existing products on the international market.

We are taking the promising possibilities and opportunities a big step further – or as we like to say: “From Biowaste to Green Gold”.

Why Prolutica?

  • Our business model and value chain are inseparably linked to our core value – sustainability. This includes the potential to fulfill up to 15 out of the 17 of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
  • We have access to state-of-the-art biotechnology, which gives us a unique possibility to exploit all the different bio-active natural substances (BANS) – including the green bio-proteins – which can be found in Cannabis sativa. Today, only approx. 42% of the BANS are identified and characterized – Prolutica will work towards identifying all the BANS from Cannabis sativa. This will undoubtedly result in many more innovative and exciting products.
  • The team behind Prolutica is curated so that our joined areas of expertise will be able to tackle the challenges which may arise – both commercially, legally and scientifically.
  • Our international profile will help us stay ahead and up to date in the international market, and already now we have been able to solve some of the serious challenges related to e.g. the harvesting and processing of Cannabis sativa, which will make the complete utilization of the crops from this cascade crop a possibility.
